Tret Fure in Concert

Tret Fure’s award-winning career spans over 51 years, including such honors as winning the South Florida Folk Festival Singer/Songwriter Competition, the prestigious Jane Schliessman Award for Outstanding Contributions to Women’s Music, the Janine C Rae Award for her work in Women’s Music, and the “Pride in the Arts Favorite Female/Lesbian Musician”. Tret took second place in the “Musicians United To Protect Bristol Bay” song contest with her song “The Fishermen of Bristol Bay” from her 15th CD, “Rembrandt Afternoons”. Tret performed in concert at Ascension on May 5th, 2018. Tret also did a musical sermon the next day on May 6th, 2018, and sang with Ascension’s Choir during the 10:00 am Sunday service. Tret is excited to perform once again at Ascension upon Rector Joan’s retirement. Proceeds will be shared between Tret, the Church of the Ascension, and Tommy’s Pantry.  Tickets are not tax-deductible. Tickets are open seating. Please bring the confirmation receipt you receive via email to the concert to be admitted. This is one concert you don’t want to miss! Tret’s music touches the soul.
