At Church of the Ascension, we offer the Marriage Rite to all couples (same-sex and heterosexual.) The Episcopal Diocese of Washington and the Episcopal Church worldwide is open and welcoming of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community. Thus, it is a joy for Church of the Ascension to celebrate the marriages of all couples who are seeking a supportive spiritual home.
