First Friday Solidarity Sing + Fall of Freedom: MayDay!
Join us as we participate in a special national night of creative expression, Fall of Freedom MayDay! Artmaking (6:00pm) and lifting our voices together in shared commitment and solidarity for our hard-won freedoms that are on the slippery slope. Singing showcase from 7:00 – 8:30pm. Art matters, courage is contagious!
This month, we are continuing our clothing drive for the SSTP Mutual Aid Clothing Closet! Items most needed are men’s clothing of all sizes and larger sizes of women’s clothing. The Closet will take any clean clothing that is free of stains except underwear. NOTE: If you cannot bring your items on May 1 and would like to drop them off in advance, you can take them to Takoma Park Presbyterian Church (310 Tulip Ave.) and put them in the bin at the top of the stone steps of the church entrance.
